Fascinating, from what I've read here plus the things your other readers posted it would seem,that the 'slender man' is just the most modern form of these child predators. Btw Boogeyman is a child's corruption of the word Bogey Men, invisible spirits that drag people down to die in the bog. From England.
I had a dream last nIght about something called the slender man. He was following this person and I was curious to what he was doing so I asked him and he said he was a slender man and explained to me that he had to follow people around and throughout my whole dream he kept appearing but then the person he was following disappeared and he came to me and said he promised to come see me and visit me throughout the years of my life and I said ok it felt like we became friends then 2 different slender men started following me bad slendermen though and then the first slender man the nice one came and told them to leave me alone he was protecting me then right before I woke up he hugged me and said see u later. Before that dream I didn't know who the slender men were and I read one of your blogs and I don't understand what happend can someone please explain to me what happend?
Interesting, well in my culture (Malaysia) Slender Man is known as The Hantu Galah which means bamboo ghost which is similar to the Slender Man.The only difference is it doesn't wear a black coat with a tie or has a hat, try searching for it in the internet..
In Sabah(Borneo) i am a Sabahan originally, in kadazandusun culture we call it as Longkoyop which means tall spirit.
I have encountered in my dreams when I was 15 yrs old I have a dream a bald man wears allblack same image of a slenderman but he's not tall mine was much disturbing the man appear in my dreams hittin me with a baton nd he's inside our house when my mom and dad came home I told them their is a man inside our house he start hittin me they didn't believe me when I went to my parents room hes there n start hittin me n I felt the pain hittin me in my arms nd my head.it only stop when I did catch the baton with my hand the man was shock nd I woke up but I still feel the pain but I don't have bruises ...the image of the men has no face bald nd wears black with baton it didn't haunt me everyday but the memories of that dream still fresh I can still remember .........
