The statue of Osiris,  a 4,000 year old statue found 80 years ago has started moving of its own accord in the Manchester Museum of History in the UK. With video. What do you think?

It is strange how the statue only moves during the day when people are walking by. At night it remains stationary. It would be nice if an original, unedited, normal speed version of the video were available for analysis. Cool video nonetheless, I loveeee this stuff.

My guess is it was somehow moved while dusting, or while retrieving one of the objects for study, and replaced on some irregularity -- a small pebble, or maybe a screw head that is part of the case itself -- that both changed the balance of the statue and acted as a pivot point.

This does not appear to be a case of the idol of Dagon prostrating itself before the Ark. -- Howard
